India, the country with a over population, will conduct it’s much delayed National Census soon. As interior minister amit shah said on Tuesday.
The Once-in-a-decade survey of National Population of India was due in the Year 2021, but due to Pandemic, technical and logistical hurdles it was delayed. It was also much delayed due to national general election , which was conducted upto three months election conducted this year in 2024.
A world wide agency reported that, India was likely to begun its census surveys upto September, aa PM Narendra modi’s government looks to plug important data gaps in his 3rd terms after criticism.
Now, in very soon, government will take steps to conduct the population based survey. However government has been criticizes from the then times, when census was not conducted. Also it is till not clear about that, weather with population based surveys, the Economic surveys of population, and Caste based Surveys of population will be considered or not.
