Police, in Indian Southern State of Kerala, have Arrested 44 Men Accused Rapping an 18 Years old Girl, over a period of 5 Years.A police was reported on Tuesday. This case has shocked the Coastal Tourist Resort- Kerala.
The victim, an Athlete, who became from Lower Caste Community, known as Dalits.Told police in a Statement, that She was Abused sexually by 62 people, over a period of 5 Years…. !!
Police identified 58 of those men, some of whom are Minors…. !!
Police arrested till time, 44, out of 62, but identified 58., an official told.
Deputy Superintendent of Police told that, ” We identified 58, and 44 numbers are Arrested, rest 14 will be Arrested Soon “. Kerala’s Pathanamthitta District, where the Crimes took place, said by the S.P.
Such crime Case, came to light, when the victim girl Narrated the Year’s Long Gang Rape history with the victim were done, in an Gender Awareness Programme by Adolescent Councellor, & volunteer, during the awareness program.
The Details of the Crimes were committed were still being investigated, said Nandkumar, the head of the investigation.
In Her Statement to the Police, the victim says, the Sexual Abuse begun when She was 13, after Her Neighbour allegedly Rapped Her. And after that incident, she was Continuously Gang Rapped by 61 Others, from a long 5 Years….. !! In which, Four(4) of the Accused, those who Rapped Her, are Minors….!!
Under Indian Law, Accused in Rape Cases, that involves Rape to Lower Caste Community or Dalits, do not immediately get Bail.
