India on Saturday, appointed it’s former Central Bank Chief, Shakti kanta Das, as Principal Secretary to the Indian Prime minister office.

The appointment comes out after, Shakti kanta Das, finished his second term as a governer of Reserve Bank of India, the Central Bank of India. Where he oversaw the monetary policy, Debt & forex markets along with financial sector regulations.
Das, the bureaucrats,became the Frist Non-economist in nearly three decades to head, as Indian Central Bank, since 2018.

Shakti kanta Das, will be Modi’s 2nd Principal Secretary, with a tenure running through the Prime minister Modi’s Entire Term, until further order, as notice comes.
