After a Year’s of clashing, within two ethnic groups, the Indian Government is in talks seeking to resolve the long running conflicts between two communities, in Northeastern State of Manipur. The Indian Minister for Home department, told to a press conference, after a year of conflicts on Tuesday.
Internet & Mobile data services were restored to the state on Monday last, after a year, where from last May, 2023, means of communication were stopped.
“We hope that we will be able to bring situation under control” told reporters in a press conference, after a year, when modi’s 3rd terms frist 100 days will complete. Before it, neither home minister, nor prime minister did not spoke anything, when for a year a state was in a fireball.
The state govt imposes curfew in imphal valley, and surrounding districts from last week Border areas with Myanmar, ordered to shut for few days, schools & college ordered to reopen slowly, but normalcy till not restored. A partial curfew still in effect.
At least 225 people’s lost their lives in due to conflicts, more over 60,000 families displaced from their homes, from their livelihood, still bound to stay in camps. Nothing had told from last year by the ministers, of state’s or union. Maithei and Kuki, are the two ethnic communities, in this conflicts over the economic benefits & qouta reservation systems in jobs and other livelihood schemes.
A communal riot into all over the state in between two communities, where one community people can’t enter to other community dominated area from last one year, and so many peoples lost their lives between conflicts.
The State’s such type of ethnic conflicts, reasons so many rape, murders, fire, ransoms were happens. Seeing these, opposition’s Congress, addressed Bharat jodo yatra, part IIII programme menu from Manipur. And leader of opposition, Mr. Rahul Gandhi visited Manipur several times, after the conflicts begun. Where as Prime Minister till date, not visited Manipur, he did not share his thoughts to the Victims of Manipur.
