Foreign Ministry of India told on Friday , New Delhi Conveyed it’s concerns to Beijing about China’s Plan to Construct A Hydro Power Dam in Tibet on Yarlung Zangbo River, which flows into India.
The Chainese Officials says the Hydro Power Projects in Tibet, will not have Major Impact on the Environment, Nor the Downstream Water Supplies, but India and Bangladesh have nevertheless raised concerns about the Dam.
The Yarlung Zangbo River Becomes The Brahmaputra River, as it leaves Tibet and flows South on it’s direction, and enter into India’s Arunachal Pradesh and Assam majorly, and finally into Bangladesh, takes name Padma, and lastly enter into Bay of Bengal.
” Chainse side has been urged to ensure that the interests of Downstream States of the Brahmaputra, are not Harmed by Activities in upstream region ” – a Ranadhir Jaisawal, Spokesperson Indian foreign ministry, briefing with media.
” We will continue monitor & take necessary measures to protect our interest ” – Spokesperson jaisawal, at questioning in media.
The Construction of the Dam, which will be the largest in any kind of the World, which Estimated the Capacity of a 300 Billion Kilowatt per hour ( 300 billion kw/h ) of electricity generation. Which approved by govt of China, last month.
The Relationship between the two Asian Giants, China and India, that were strained after a Deadly Military Clash on Disputed Indo- Chainese Borders from 2020.
The recent scenario shows, the Dam in under construction, and rapidly China to built on it’s destination.
