At least six people were killed in a stampede & 35 were injured in Indian one of the Busiest & Richest Temple, after thousands of Hindu devout assembled there to secure free passes.
As from January 19th, it is considered very much auspicious to visit at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Mandir, which popularly known to the World as ‘ Tirupati ‘, in the Southern State of Andhra Pradesh, in India, where the incident occurs.
” The stampede took place, when the Gate of the main Temple was opened, and a 2,500 people just pushed the gate, a few felt, and an incident occurs ” – according to the District Collector & Revenue Officer of the District.
Tickets for visiting temple costs ₹ 300/- each, and should book only through online, but in this special time, some free passes issues in this 2000 years old temple.
Andhra Pradesh Chief minister, Chandra Babu Naidu, the Key Ally of Modi Government, were visiting the temple site, visited the injured.
YSR Congress party , the opposition party, and it’s chief and Naidu’s predecessor, Jagan Mohan Reddy, blamed state government for this Stampede incident. Blamed it’s an administrative failure.
